Yorkshire Vets AA Grand Prix Race 1 – Honley

Fantastic to see so many blue and whites out at the first race of the Yorkshire Vets Grand Prix. The course is just less than 6 miles (approx. 9.75K) and climbs gradually to the same high point as previous years (290 m in total).
Nathan Crossley was first Harrier home for the men and picking up 191 points in a time of 42:49. He was followed by: Steve Raby 44:39, Martin Critchley 44:43, Alan Squire 45:42, Andy Perkinson 47:25, Ron Taverner 48:37, Jonathan Eagle 49:20, David Womersley 50:19, Ian Fitzgerald 50:33, Andy Smith 50:41, Chris Kilner 51:15, Martin McCleave 53:27, Jon Potts 53:59, Steve Wood 56:47, Steve Allen 59:00, Peter Russell 59:19, Kevin Watson 59:34, Richard Duffy 61:00, Keith Park 61:09, Gordon Little 64:05, Philip Ramsden 65:16, Steve O’Hara 66:44 and Pete Scanlon 71:59.
Liz Huby was first female Harrier home and 4th lady overall in a time of 48:29. She was followed by: Becky Lawrence 51:37, Caroline Thomas 51:49, Bev Hurst 53:20, Serena Blackburn 57:37, Sarah Papadimos 61:27, Gini Knight 61:29, Carolyn Weir 67:09, Nicola Barnett 69:55, Jo Hewitt 71:11, Helen Fagg 71:33 and Sheila Mason 74:38.
