The Grim Four by Four 2018

A new event for ‘It’s Grim up North Running’, four days of marathon running around Fewston and Swinsty reservoir. Hilary Wharam completed the marathon distance in 6:55:59.

Holly Hustle

A fast fun packed forest 11K trail run with some challenging uphills and rewarding downhills! Starting at the Myrtle Tavern in Meanwood, the Holly Hustle takes in some of the best trails that Leeds has to offer. A combination of beautiful Meanwood Park and the Hollies, famous for well-kept paths through extensive woodlands, with a vast collection of different species of flowers. Then onto the marvellous Meanwood Valley Trail, past the Seven Arches viaduct and Adel Crag. With the option of a quarter or two-lap half Marathon and free hot soup and crusty bread at the end there’s possibly no reason why this shouldn’t be on every fun-loving trail runners’ bucket list! Leeds Tough 10

Runners experienced 10k of forest paths, steep, muddy trails and streams with new terrain around every corner. Lisa Speed completed the tough course in 1:25:41.

Sunday 11th November 2018

Dalby Dash 10K

Starting from Low Dalby Visitors Centre in Dalby Forest. Philip Boynton finished 4th in 35:02.

Run Bolton Abbey 2018

Runners could choose from a 2-mile fun run, 10k, 10 mile or half-marathon. The routes were a mixture of paths, tracks, woodland trails and open land. Runners experienced the beauty of Strid Wood, Dicken Dike, the Valley of Desolation, the Launde Plantation and a stretch of Barden Fell. Harriers results were as follows:
