Snowdonia Marathon

This is a tough circuit of Snowdon starting and finishing in Llanberis, predominantly on road with just two short sections on unmade tracks. The course is tough with stunning scenery. The three climbs total 2,800 ft with a very steep descent back into Llanberis. It was sunny skies, snow on the mountains and only a short burst of hail stones during the race. Neil Burton finished in 02:54:04 (2nd M40 and 9th male). 2205 finished. Congratulations on a fantastic result Neil!

Bradford City Runs

It was a cold and sunny morning for the Bradford City Runs. This unique format includes three races on one course. Based upon a 5K loop of Bradford city centre, the course takes in City Park, Bradford University, the Broadway and Little Germany. One lap gets you 5K, two gets you 10K and 4 (and an extra bit) gets you a half marathon. David Womersley finished the 10k race in 44:45 and also 1st M65. Victoria Brides completed the half marathon in 2:04:13.
