Gregynog Wales 10K, Half, Marathon & Ultra

Held at the Gregynog Hall & Hotel, Tregynon, this was a multi distance race with options of 10k, Half Marathon, Marathon & 50k Ultra. The undulating road route was a lap course consisting of 1 x 10k lap with an additional lap at the start for the Marathon & Half Marathon distances. Hilary Wharam completed the marathon distance in 6:54:56.

Guiseley Gallop

19 Harriers headed to Guiseley for the annual multi terrain 10k race organised by Skyrac AC. This is a scenic undulating trail race along paths, tracks and canal side. With the winner finishing in a swift 36:54, the pace was quick for an off-road race. Barney Plummer was first Harrier home in 41:44. He was followed by: Paul Gidlow 42:37 (1st M40), Steve Large 43:10, Martin Critchley 45:20 (3rd M40), Paul Freeman 46:33, Paul Beal 50:17, Rob Webster 52:32, Tracy Carroll 53:03, Jenny Oldridge 54:04 (3rd F45), Jonathan Eagle 54:28, Jane Webster 54:33 (3rd F50), Jill Hobson 55:59, Natalie Wood 56:37,David Womersley 57:34, Michael Yeadon 59:37, Steve Wood 1:00:08, Victoria Brides 1:02:26, Becky Black 1:06:38 and Caroline Asquith 1:08:21. 426 finished.

Helmsley 10K

This year was the tenth Helmsley 10K All Terrain Challenge which started in Carlton Lane, headed off-road into forestry and fields emerging again onto the bottom of Carlton Road and to the finish at the recreation ground. A full 10K on a variety of surfaces. Two Harriers took part. Andrew Harrop finished in 54:36 and Emma Harrop in 55:32.
