Kirkstall Abbey Trail Running Festival
A challenging route on a mixture of roads, tracks and fields around Kirkstall Abbey, organised by the It’s Grim Up North running team. Runners could choose from 5K/8.8/13.1/26.2/32 Mile route options. Six Harriers were running. Results were as follows: Janette Freeman (8.8) 1:03:02, Kristian Henry (Half Marathon) 1:36:49, Philip Ramsden (Half Marathon) 2:16:17, Nicola Barnett (Half Marathon) 2:17:00, Charlotte Allen (Half Marathon) 2:42:39 and Hilary Wharam (Marathon) 6:41:57.

Even Splits 5K Race Series
EvenSplits brand new 5K race series is staged monthly at the Brownlee Centre Cycle Circuit. The series consists of six, monthly 5K road races, the first of which was Wednesday 5th July 2017. Each event includes: an A race for those who expect to run sub-22:30 and a B race for those who expect to run 22:30 or above. Five Harriers took part in the sixth and final race of the series. Fastest Harrier across the line was Tim Appleyard in 21:16. He was followed by: Kristian James Henry 21:31, Victoria Brides 25:47, Joanna Mingham 29:13 (2nd FV55) and Jacqueline Stack 30:15. 143 ran.
