Join Marie & Garth for summer track training sessions at Leeds Trinity campus. These sessions will help to improve your overall speed and performance. It’s also a great chance to receive some proper instruction on correct running form and posture, as well as getting advice, support and motivation from experienced running coaches. Go along and give it a go. Sessions run from April to September on Thursday evenings.
Marie & Garth's Thursday Winter Training sessions are back starting 5th October. This 5-week rolling plan is designed to help you become: Fitter, Faster and Stronger as well as enable you to maintain consistent training over the winter months.
Having spoken to most of the group recently, I’m not planning to change last year's training rotation. The schedule will start on Tuesday 18th Sept and will be the tempo session (the tempo session alternates between Marie's 8 mile winter tempo loop and a negative split 30/28 out to Airedale Leisure Centre). Sessions have the usual 7:30 start. Hi-vis tops are now mandatory kit.
Summer Track sessions start again on Thursday 19th April at Trinity. These sessions are designed to help you gain more confidence in your running ability, build up speed and stamina, all whilst maintaining an efficient running style and posture. Two sessions are available once again this year. 6pm for beginners/those new to running/track training and 7pm for more experienced runners.
